Excess sebum in most cases causes the obstruction of the excretory ducts of the pilo-sebaceous follicles, thus favoring the development of pathogens such as propionibacterium acnes. The phytocomplex based on biomimetic peptides and natural extracts of the anti-acne face cream / anti-pimple cream Derma Purifying cream D 2.0® aims to purify the skin thoroughly and also rebalance the production of sebum.

Purifying face cream, anti acne and anti blemish cream Composition: 

• Oligopeptide-10: Powerful peptide with antimicrobial action;
• Azeloil Diglycinate: Water-soluble derivative of azelaic acid with antibacterial, soothing, sebum-regulating, anti-stain action (more dermo-compatible and delicate than azelaic acid);
• Salicylic Acid: beta-hydroxy acid obtained from willow (salix alba) obtained by the enzymatic hydrolysis of salicilin. It is an organic acid, colorless with a crystalline structure that is not very soluble in water. It has keratolytic properties (breaks the keratin of the corneodesmosomes, making the bonds between the lipids weaker), promoting exfoliation, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory;
• Mandelic Acid: derived from bitter almonds which exfoliates at the level of the most superficial layer of the skin as a toning treatment. This particular acid accelerates cell turnover by breaking the small bonds of cohesion between the epithelial cells of the stratum corneum which is so delicately removed, consequently bringing to the surface the innermost skin layers with a more compact and luminous appearance;
• Lactic acid: alpha-hydroxy acid obtained from the fermentation of milk. It has molecules that are dimensionally larger than glycolic acid so it can reach less depth, thus resulting less aggressive. It stimulates the production of ceramides (essential lipids to maintain the correct architecture of the skin) and has hygroscopic capabilities, i.e. it is able to draw water from the deeper layers. It performs a keratolytic and pH rebalancing action;
• Honey Extract: antiseptic and a natural anti-inflammatory, rich in flavonoids and polyphenols. Honey also reduces the redness and swelling typical of acne manifestations. Controls the accumulation of dust in the pores and absorbs impurities. The sugar present in honey acts as a natural humectant, moisturizing and leaving the skin soft and radiant. Helps reduce fine lines and soothes dry and irritated skin. Excellent as an antioxidant, it delays the aging process;
• Retinol: stimulates cell turnover to maintain a uniform and healthy color, promotes the synthesis of new collagen and elastin and regulates the production of melanin (very important for the prevention of post-acne hyperpigmentation);
• Boswellia serrata extract: rich in terpene derivatives and boswellic acids. These extracts have an excellent anti-inflammatory activity and are able to inhibit the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme responsible for the production of leukotrienes and cytokines, involved in inflammatory processes. In addition to the important soothing activity, boswellic acids stimulate the fibroblasts of the dermis and inhibit elastase, an enzyme capable of degrading elastic fibers;
• Sodium Hyaluronate: powerful skin moisturizer and stimulator of the production of new collagen fibers, prevents excessive trans-epidermal evaporation;
• Arginine: basic amino acid with restorative and moisturizing properties of collagen;
• Vitamin E: powerful antioxidant used to minimize damage induced by free radicals;
• Coconut Oil: Deeply nourishes the skin making it more elastic, it is suitable for the care of dry, fragile, reddened and chapped skin;
• Sweet Almond Oil: with an elasticizing action to give relief and comfort even to the most demanding skins sensitized by intensive treatments;
• Sunflower Oil: prevents scars, smoothes wrinkles and restores health to the skin throughout the body by smoothing, nourishing and restoring elasticity;
• Illipe Butter: with nourishing and elasticising action;
