Derma Bio by Derma 2.0. The most advanced PDRN product on the market.

Derma Bio by Derma 2.0. The most advanced PDRN product on the market.

PN, PDRN, Salmon DNA, Sodium DNA, Salt of Deoxyribonucleic Acid….these phrases are all hot in the press right now and for good reason. Proven to be amazing for wound repair and skin regeneration with anti inflammatory properties, hydration and antioxidant activity. This salmon derived ingredient stimulates cell proliferation and the synthesis of collagen and elastin. Lots of products on the market are based on salmon DNA due to these benefits.

But then there is Derma Bio by Derma 2.0…..

Derma Bio contains a plethora of advanced ingredients alongside PDRN. How about PDRN mixed with extra antioxidants, biomimetic peptides and stimulants, with amino acid and multivitamin complexes!

Antioxidants and Biomimetic peptides:

DMAE Analog of choline (precursor of acetylcholine) with anti-aging, antioxidant and moisturising, vasoprotective functions;
ARGIRELINE (acetyl hexapeptide 8) Biomimetic peptide that mimics the effect of botulinum neurotoxin (competition on SNARE complex), causing distension and relaxation on the skin.
GLUTATHIONE Tripeptide (glycine + glutamate + cysteine) which acts as a powerful antioxidant in particular when it works in synergy with selenium, B3, B6 and E. It gives brightness, tone and elasticity.

Multivitamin Complex:

VITAMIN A PALMITATE (RETINOL) Esterified form (with palmitic acid) of retinol, more easily absorbed (it is converted first into retinol and then into retinoic acid). At epidermal level, it stimulates cell turnover giving a smoother appearance to the skin; contributes to the proliferation of keratinocytes. At dermal level, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin (in synergy with vitamin E);
VITAMIN E ACETATE or alpha tocopherol acetate is commonly used as a natural preservative. At dermo-epidermal level (in synergy with vitamin A) it has functions: antioxidant and elasticizing, nourishing, anti-inflammatory and pro-reparative, sebum-regulating;
VITAMIN B1 (thiamine) necessary for the metabolism of carbohydrates (provides energy to the cells). Useful for cell growth when it acts in synergy with vitamin B6;
VITAMIN B3 (niacinamide) acts as an antioxidant, sebum regulator, cofactor in the synthesis of keratin and ceramides, moisturizer, keratinolytic differentiation factor;
VITAMIN B6 (pyridoxine) necessary for the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fatty acids. A deficiency causes peeling and overproduction of the skin. It intervenes as a cofactor in the synthesis of collagen and cysteine, an amino acid useful for the well-being of nails and hair as well as for the synthesis of glutathione;
VITAMIN B8 (biotin) is involved in the synthesis of fatty acids and in the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates. On the skin, it has a sebum-regulating action and contributes to the synthesis of keratin for maintaining the well-being of the tissues.
VITAMIN C (ascorbic acid) with antioxidant and intrinsic and extrinsic anti-aging (photo-protection) action. At dermal level it helps to maintain the adequate density of collagen by regulating the enzymatic synthesis activity.

Amino Acid Complex:

GLYCINE The simplest of the amino acids and the main constituent of NMF and collagen. It is used on dry and inelastic skin as it has a moisturizing, repairing and antioxidant action.
L-PROLINE Together with glycine, this amino acid is the main constituent of collagen (niacin and vitamin C are used as synthesis cofactors).
L-HYDROXYPROLINE It is the proline which undergoes a post synthesis modification (hydroxylation); contributes to the production of collagen.
L-ARGININE Alkaline amino acid, present in NMF with moisturising, anti-aging, vasodilatory properties (hair well-being);

All PDRN products also contain Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Derma Bio by Derma 2.0 have even gone one step further with this, including HA with 3 different molecular weights:

High molecular weight: given its viscosity (it is not absorbed) it carries out its action at the epidermal level where it acts as a humectant given the remarkable hydration capacity (greater turgor); it is a film-forming compound that prevents the transdermal dispersion of water.
Low molecular weight: acts and penetrates up to the dermis where it acts as a filler and stimulates the synthesis of collagen fibers;
Medium molecular weight: it has intermediate characteristics between the two previous viscosities.
