How to Choose the Right Dermal Filler?
While everyone has their favourites, several key factors should guide your decision:
Safety: Are the products CE marked? Are they sourced from reputable suppliers who ensure safe storage? Client safety is top priority, and all FYAB dermal fillers are CE marked, insurable and 100% safe for both practitioner and client.
Concentration of Hyaluronic Acid (HA): Do you prefer 20mg or 24mg?
20mg/ml fillers are softer and more flexible, making them ideal for delicate areas like the lips or under the eyes. They offer a natural look with hydration and subtle volume. When combined with hybrid cross-linking technology, they also provide excellent longevity and are perfect for volumising and contouring.
24mg/ml fillers are denser and provide more volume, making them suitable for deeper injections in areas like the cheeks, jawline, or nasolabial folds. They offer pronounced lifting effects and longer-lasting results, especially when utilising advanced cross-linking technology.
When selecting between the two, consider the client’s skin type, age, and aesthetic goals. For subtle enhancements or sensitive areas, a 20mg/ml filler may be ideal. For significant volume or contouring, a 24mg/ml option can be more appropriate. Always discuss expectations with your client to ensure the best match.
Molecular Structure: Monophasic, Biphasic, or Hybrid?
Monophasic dermal fillers have a uniform gel consistency, providing a smooth, natural feel. They are best for subtle enhancements but may require more injection force and have a higher chance of swelling.
Biphasic dermal fillers combine a cohesive gel with a fluid phase, offering versatility for volume and contouring. However, they are not suitable for soft tissue areas like lip augmentation and have a greater risk of migration. FYAB does not stock biphasic fillers as monophasic and hybrid options are simply superior.
Hybrid dermal fillers combine the benefits of monophasic and biphasic formulations, offering stability, longevity and volume. They are excellent for deeper injections, volume building and subtle enhancements, to provide a natural appearance with enhanced durability and easier injection.
Price?
Being frank, the cost absolutely does not reflect quality. There are exceptional products available at affordable prices, as well as subpar options that are very expensive. FYAB is committed to providing only high-quality products at fair prices.
Our Product Line up
Sosum
Hybrid, 20mg/ml HA: A versatile option with Lidocaine and Lidocaine-free choices. It offers natural results and excellent longevity, with minimal to no swelling and a very low risk of migration. Simply the best all rounder, a true single brand solution.
Exquiller
Hybrid, 24mg/ml HA: Ideal for significant volume and contouring due to it being 24mg/ml AND hybrid in structure. While some swelling may occur initially due to the 24mg/ml HA content, with it being hybrid the risk of migration is very low when placed correctly. Not ideal for sensitive areas like under eyes or subtle enhancements due to the higher HA content.
The HADA
Monophasic, 20mg/ml HA: Perfect for subtle enhancements and natural, gentle contouring, with minimal to no swelling and a low risk of migration. Perfect for older clients or clients that visit regularly.
Starfill and Colena
Monophasic, 24mg/ml HA: These products land somewhere between the others. They require more force to inject and may not be ideal for subtle enhancements due to a higher chance of swelling. Migration is more likely with Monophasic products but very low risk when placed correctly. Not ideal for sensitive areas like under eyes or subtle enhancements due to the higher HA content.https://fyaestheticboutique.co.uk/product/starfill-dermal-filler-1-x-1-1ml-ce/
